the traffic of the website could be slowed down. Subsequently, this soon broadened to further

internet sites, shoddily slowing down the different networks which were part of internet as a

whole.

Ensure to keep your antivirus program running

The malicious Payloads accompanying with worms can lead to substantial breakdown in a PC

in any network. Hence, it is always mandatory for you to switch on the antivirus programs within

the network. If this is not followed, it is possible that data is transferred external to the network

or files are deleted cautiously.

De-Worming

There are various firewalls designed to organize and control network traffic which acts as a

saving the PC from worm attacks. Worms are mainly scattered to networks with the help of

emails. Hence one should be extra cautious when opening emails from unknown senders or
